About Wing Chun Wing Chun is an ancient fighting skill practiced strictly among the monks in the Shaolin temple, in main land China. The secret of this art has only been revealed in the recent history after Shaolin temple was burnt down by the Emperor in the late Ching dynasty. To prevent this fighting skill from being lost forever, the art began to emerge among ordinary people and even then, the selection of disciples was kept strictly within family members, men and women. The art was renowned to the world in the late 1960's and since then, it has become popular form of martial art and Wing Chun were often associated with colourful legend and myth. Wing Chun is more than just a fighting technique. The technique, the theory, the idea and the implication to day-to-day life surrounding this art might take one's lifetime to master.
